Dear BMF
Members,
Friends and Colleagues,

Basingstoke Multicultural Forum wishes to invite you to our Annual General Meeting on

Thursday 6th June

7.30pm

Mosaic Centre, Chute House

Church Street, Basingstoke RG21 7QT

As you know we exist to support the development and engagement of minority ethnic and faith groups so that they have the opportunities to fulfill their social and economic potential via our three strands of diversity, learning and development.

BMF have achieved a lot since our last AGM and look forward to a meaningful future with your continued support.  We wish to celebrate this with you along with the opportunity to be more involved with our work.

There will be refreshments, and a taste of our multicultural cuisine over networking after the meeting.  Do join us and please confirm your attendance with me via email or by giving me a call.

We will also be looking to recruit strategic thinkers who are passionate about the equalities agenda as trustees (elected and co-opted) with a good understanding of the sector in which BMF operates.  If you can support us at Board level please do contact me in the first instance and we can discuss further.

I very much look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Radhia Tarafder
Chief Executive

Among its aims, the Forum wishes to support and build the capacity of BME organisations, actively engage with culturally diverse hard-to-reach groups, promote better understanding between different religions and cultures in the borough and provide a channel through which communities can raise issues in order to find practical solutions to their concerns.

BMF exists to widen participation, welcoming representation from any individual, groups or organisations that are from or has an interest in the BME community.  We very much look forward to hearing from you.
