MISSION VISION and VALUES
This Basingstoke Based group was established to promote
better understanding between different religions and cultures
in the borough and to encourage social contact amongst
different communities by organizing social, religious,
cultural and educational activities.
It also aims to establish links with and offer consultations
to the rest of the voluntary sector alliances and local
authority networks, and thus provide a main channel through
which culturally diverse communities can raise their issues.
The group believes in an inclusive membership and feels it vital that anyone with a connection to BME or having an interest in its future,be they white or black, should be welcomed as a member.
THE AIMS OF THE FORUM ARE:-
- To promote better understanding between different faiths and cultures in Basingstoke and Deane.
- To encourage social contact amongst different communities by organizing social, religious, cultural and educational activities.
- To provide a main channel through which culturally diverse communities can raise their issues and concerns.
- To establish links with other third sector agencies and organizations facilitating more effective service delivery
